Hey what’s up, everybody? Welcome to the A M. Welcome, welcome, welcome! hope lifes treating you well. Hope y’all are doing good.

So today’s episode, today’s five minute rant is how to improve. A lot of people talk about improving a lot of people talking about changing your life. And here’s the problem. How do you actually do it?

So I’ve got six steps here in a little saying. All right, to kind of give you a start.

So first, step number one, to how to improve, you got to be able to be wrong. It takes some humility. It takes humility, to be able to improve, okay? Right? You can’t just be stuck there thinking that you’re always right. All right, every time that I thought I’m always right, I normally end up being wrong somewhere. Now, here’s the biggest thing. It’s not a bad thing to be wrong. Don’t be afraid of it right? Embrace it. Really challenge yourself to embrace it and tell yourself it’s going to be okay. Nobody’s going to hate you. If you’re wrong. I’ve experienced that personally afraid that people are gonna hate me. My wife has gone through similar things like that. And that’s not true. Okay.

Step number two, have some creative thinking and some curiosity. If things are happening in your life, good or bad, write things that are pleasant and nice things that are not. Ask yourself, why? Why are they happening? And then you’ll be able to start to be able to understand why it’s happening. So you can either recreate it and build it, or you can stop it from happening. Right? Next after you ask why?

Step number three, is to plan. Okay, so you take that why, you figure out what you want to repeat, and what you don’t. Okay. And then you make a plan from there. How am I going to repeat this right? I really enjoy what’s happening at work. I really enjoy what’s happening right now. How do I repeat that? Oh, I never want this to happen again in my life. How do I do that? Right, you create a plan.

Step number four, take action, actually do the plan. And I will guarantee you right now, so you don’t get discouraged. It will fail, you will fail because you don’t know what you don’t know. And when you’re trying something new, it normally breaks and that’s okay. You Just need to go back to step three and plan better and either fix that or guess what it doesn’t break and it’s amazing.

Alright, step number five persistence. You’ve got to continue to do this over and over and over again. And that’s okay, as well. All right. So don’t quit. Not quitting is such a major thing, having persistence to follow through and continue to try.

Alright, step number six, and this is the most important step, start today, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is today. So start today, find something, find a problem, or find something good in your life, that you want to repeat.

Okay, and then begin going down the steps. I’m going to repeat them. Step one, be able to be wrong, have that humility. Step two have creative and critical thinking ask why. Step two is really ask why but have that creative thinking, to ask why and understand what is happening. Step three, create a plan. It doesn’t have to be elaborate isn’t have to be crazy. Here’s the three things want to do to see if this works. Step four, action, take it do it. Step five, persistence. And then step six, start today. So take action, don’t quit and then start today.

Alright, so here’s a saying that my wife and I talk a lot about my business partner and I talk a lot about, I came up with it personally because I wanted to have something in my life to continue to go back to it is, think, try, fail, learn, grow, repeat. Think, try, fail, learn, grow, repeat. So you think about something being wrong, the humility, the creative thinking, try it, put a plan in place, act on it fail, it’s going to happen. It’s not going to be perfect. It’s okay.

You don’t have to be perfect. I’m going to say it again. Nobody’s going to hate you. If you’re not perfect. If you have friends who expect perfection of your family, you might want to, I don’t know, you might want to consider they may not be good people to share a lot of things with okay.

So that’s saying again, think try, fail, learn, grow, repeat. And for you guys to take that. Alright, six simple steps. And a little saying for y’all Just something to think about throughout the day. And I’ll talk to you guys next time. Peace!
