Hey what’s up? What’s up? What’s up everybody? Welcome back to THE a.m guys, welcome back to five minute rants. I’m your host, Michael Abernathy and a welcome back to the show predicated on the journey of life and business. Hey guys real quick, if you know somebody that would benefit from listening to the show, if it would better their lives maybe help put some food on the table, help them overcome some problems? Would you share this with them and partner with me to get the word out? I really appreciate it. Well, everybody, I’m just gonna go ahead and jump straight on into this.

Today, What I want to talk about is actions are not taken, like they are not something that we physically go and take, or do they actually come from you like, What I’m trying to talk about is the origin of actions, right? Why do you do What you do. And this is so important, because if you don’t know why you do What you do, you are not going to be able to move forward in life the way you should, right. And so I want to say this actions aren’t just taken actions come from within you, okay. And to give you an example of this, is that everything that an apple tree needs in order to make apples is already inside of it, okay? We know it’s an apple tree, because apples appear on the tree, but everything that an apple already has to make everything that appletree already needs to make apples is already inside of it. And my point is this is you get to decide who you want to be. And then you get to act accordingly. You get to decide What type of man or What type of woman or person that you want to be. And then you get to act accordingly. Right?

I’ve talked about before, like principles that I’ve had, like, I want to be an honest man, a trustworthy man that when I say I’m going to do something, people believe me, and they trust me, they know that I’m going to do What I say I’m going to do, they know that I’m going to be honest. And I want to be that type of person. And so that comes from within me, and then as a result, my actions come out of that my actions come from who I am, okay. And I’m going to say this actions do not define you, a lot of people say that actions do not define you. What they actually do is they expose who you really are, they expose who you are on the inside. And so when people look at your actions, when people look at the outcomes of the decisions you’ve made internally of your internal belief system, of your internal framework for thinking and decision making an acting, your outside actions expose that they expose who you are, and they expose your internal identity, they expose your internal belief set, right?

All actions, in my opinion, come from belief sets, because whatever you believe, is going to determine What you think. And whatever you think is What is going to determine What you do, right, because everything that you think, results in decisions, and the decisions always result in actions. And actions are just simply put the visible outcomes of who I am, and What is inside of me and who I’ve chosen to be. And going back to the apple tree analogy, guys, it’s very much like that, like, everything that apple tree needs to make apples is already inside of it. Think about that, it’s already inside of it, and then it produces the apples on on itself. Alright, then apples appear in the tree, the apples being actions, right? Everything that you need to make actions already inside of you.

Everything that you have inside of you determines What type of actions are made, right, so an apple tree is not going to bear figs, an apple tree is not going to bear blackberries. It’s not going to produce blackberries. Why an apple tree does not have the genetics inside of it that are needed to make blackberries. An apple tree does not have the genetics and side of it to make figs. Think about that. And it’s the same thing with us as people, I get to decide who I am. And then I get to act accordingly. My actions do not define me. I decide who I am. And then I decide my actions. And oftentimes, we find that there’s a lot of victimology around actions. There’s a lot of victimology of like, well, this is who I am. So because this is obviously What I do, What I do is who I am, and it’s like, Nope, you’re you and then you get to decide What you do. And if that weren’t the case, then why are you working the job you are? Why am I working the job I am like, you look at this in life, and that statement breaks in lots of areas, it doesn’t work universally, versus the other way around, is I get to decide who I am. I get to decide What kind of person I want to be. I get to decide if I want to be caring, loving, or if I want to be a jerk. I get to decide those things and I get to decide them in specific moments of time. And the whole point of everything that I’m trying to say is this You get to decide. You get to decide who you want to be today. You get to decide who you want to be tomorrow.

Well guys, I’m out of time so I’ll catch y’all later. Peace.
