What’s Up Guys? Welcome back to the AM. Welcome back to five minute rants.

Well, guys, I actually want to talk about discipline. I want to talk about discipline, and I’m going to come at this from a very practical, personal side discipline. To define it is simply doing the thing despite how you feel emotionally. It’s keeping the promise that you made to yourself, that you made to your customers. It’s keeping the promise you made to your friends. It’s keeping the promise that you made to your spouse. That’s discipline. It’s just keeping the promise, doing the action in order to fulfill the promise.

Discipline when I say, Hey, I’m going to make my bed every morning, when I get up, before I get dressed, or whatever it is, however you’re going to do it, you make the bed in the morning, not the afternoon, not the evening, the morning. Now, if you just have to make the bed every day, great anytime during that day, but if you look, it’s keeping the promise and discipline. The thing about discipline is this is it’s doing the thing, whether you feel like doing it or not. In the benefit of discipline is consistency. Consistency creates order, and part of our job in life is to fight off disorder.

That’s why you cut the grass every week, because when the grass grows, it gets disorderly. That’s why you got to wash your car, because just driving it, it gets dirty. Chaos and disorder come in. That’s how businesses work. That is how businesses work, and the purpose and point behind businesses, and it’s so important to keep the discipline and produce the systems in the company, to actually produce the order and keep the promises.

When a client hires you, when a client hires you, and they come in and they have hired you to do the work that they want you to do to get the outcome that they want to get. It’s the discipline that keeps the promise.

And even as I’m saying this, I’m realizing I’m recording right now and I’m late for a meeting, I’m not keeping my promises. So this is me failing and discipline real life example. And so the question is, what do I do? And I think I actually stopped the recording and redo the work. So there we go. Peace guys.
